Welcome to our blog! As an Army family, we are not usually stationed anywhere close to our relatives and often have to leave behind dear friends every time we move. This blog is our way of keeping our family & friends in "the loop". Check back every few weeks to see what is happing in our lives!

First Fall Friday

We happily celebrated the official changing of seasons on Monday with cooler weather and homemade soup. The AC has been turned off and the windows opened for over a week! I love this time of year! (I know, I know.... I've already said that hundreds of times...).

Today after Maddie came home from school we made sugar cookies in the shapes of leaves, pumpkins, and apples. The girls loved rolling out the dough, cutting out the cookies, and decorating them with sugar without any adult help! I think their favorite part, though, was picking up the extra sugar and eating it!

Tomorrow we are heading to a Fall Festival/Craft Fair and then back home for homemade Caramel Apple Cider (check back... I'll post the recipe this weekend!).

Looks fun Connie! I'm excited to do those things with Matthew when he gets a little bigger. Ella looks all grown up in the photos.

I'm so glad you shared all that stuff- I can't wait to try some of that stuff! I have to ask- how did you get your blogger page to take up the whole screen (width??)
