Cookbook Recommendation

Today I made Apricot Oatmeal Bars for my Grandpa B who is celebrating his 91st birthday tomorrow. Fortunately, they travel well (thanks to my FoodSaver) and will arrive fresh within a few days. The recipe I used comes from this fabulous cookbook from Williams-Sonoma ~ The Kid's Cookbook. I love that each recipe has a picture, the instructions are easy to follow, and the ingredients are things you would normally have on hand.

I'm so glad that you posted this cookbook, Connie! I checked it out at the library not too long ago and loved it. I knew immediately that I wanted a copy for my own library. I had forgotten all about it until you posted this. Thanks for the reminder. To everyone considering this book -- you won't be sorry!
