Welcome to our blog! As an Army family, we are not usually stationed anywhere close to our relatives and often have to leave behind dear friends every time we move. This blog is our way of keeping our family & friends in "the loop". Check back every few weeks to see what is happing in our lives!

Happy Birthday Alexandria!

This weekend I went with the ladies of my church to the Women of Faith Conference in Washington D.C. leaving Michael and the girls on their own for 24 hours. The conference was great and I came home to find that the house was still standing, nothing had been destroyed, toys had been picked up, and everyone was happy.

Saturday evening we took the girls to Historic Old Town Alexandria for their birthday celebration. The area was filled with families and friends picnicing and playing games, but wasn't so overwhelmed with people that you felt closed in. We enjoyed listening to the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, eating birthday cake, and watching fireworks over the Potomac River. We will most definitely go back next year!

I must be dumb because I still haven't learned how to do most of the neat blog things you do Connie! I can't even get multiple pictures on a post! I must be losing my mind to pregnancy!!!
