Air Show At Andrews Air Force Base

One of the best things about being so close to everything is that you can take off for a day of fun and be home in time for dinner. Friday evening, after consulting the weatherman, we decided that we would take the girls to the Joint Services Open House at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on Saturday. I can't even begin to tell you how much fun we had as a family! I was a little concerned that the girls would quickly get tired of all the "airplanes" and walking so much, but ended up being pleasently surprised ~ not one complaint! They absolutely loved watching the airshow, and after seeing the Blue Angels, Maddie declared that she wants to be a fighter pilot (go girl!).
