It has become a tradition in our house to do a fun project on Friday afternoons after Madison gets home from school. I guess it is kind of a way to celebrate the end of the school week.... we made it through homework, tests, and all the hustle and bustle of after school activities (and this has been a very busy week)! Sometimes Michael can join us, and we love it when he can, but other times it's just us girls. Today we made caramel apples ~ easy and fun with yummy results! We used the recipe right on the back of the Kraft Caramel Bits bag and rolled our apples in peanuts. I was temped to drizzle them with chocolate, but decided against it. Now I'm not sure why. The more I think about it, the more drizzled chocolate caramel apples dances in my head. Chocolate makes everything taste better!!
