I feel that I am a rather positive, strong and independent individual. So the fact that I am counting down the hours and minutes until we get to pick up Michael from the airport should tell you how things have gone this week (2 hours, 25 minutes, and 46 seconds). He has been TDY this week (temporary duty) and usually we girls handle his absence relatively well as we have done it so often. This week, however, has seemed very hectic and I haven't slept well at all. Military wives usually joke that if something is going to go wrong it will happen the day after your husband goes TDY or deploys. Let's see.... this week my computer went completely haywire, Ella has cried in her sleep several nights for "Daddy to come back", I burned my hand with boiling water (not serious, but hurt like heck), and I locked myself out of my house.... with no spare key to be found. I'll spare you the details, but I did manage to get back into the house after what I am sure was assistance from God who was feeling sorry for me.
Side note: I just took a break from blogging to mop my entire top floor ~ Ella decided to sprinkle the house with milk from her cup. The ENTIRE top floor.Anyway, the week is now finally over and I will soon be able to hand over the reigns and take a deep breath. I feel it necessary to include a picture I took of Ella a few days ago with her hair in what she calls "pinky tails". I need to remind myself of how adorable she is after the above mentioned milk incident.
