Our family was introduced to Indian food for the first time that evening at a local Indian restaurant. I have always thought our family to be very cultured and open to new things, but now I am not quite so sure... Madison was very brave and never complained once, but ended up only eating rice. Ella picked up and took a bite out of a "papdum" (very spicy cracker) before I could stop her. Needless to say, the entire restaurant was staring at our table as she yelled at the top of her lungs and spit the cracker out wherever she could (ie. tablecloth, floor, cup of water, napkin, my plate...). The waiter felt sorry for her and brought her a mixture of mango and yogurt which she drank up quickly. After that, I couldn't get her to eat anything. Michael loved the food, but I have a feeling he will have to wait until our friends visit again before he gets anyone to go with him.
Welcome to our blog! As an Army family, we are not usually stationed anywhere close to our relatives and often have to leave behind dear friends every time we move. This blog is our way of keeping our family & friends in "the loop". Check back every few weeks to see what is happing in our lives!

Sounds like a great time :) Glad I'm not the only one with screamin kids in a restaurant ;)
