Madison, Ella and I were lucky enough to get a week at Spring Canyon in Buena Vista, CO for the "Heros on the Homefront" seminar. Spring Canyon is a beautiful retreat owned by Officer Christian Fellowship. It was incredible!! Madison kept very busy with the children's program ~ learning about God, fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, and making neat crafts. Ella played in the nursery with the other kids her age and learned songs, played with bubbles, and collected many rocks. Besides awesome seminars, horseback riding and hanging out at the hot springs, I was lucky enough to go white water rafting (and can't wait to go again)! And the homemade meals three times a day.... Wow! Needless to say, we all came away mentally, physically, and spiritually refreshed!
